In my last video, I talked about why so many luxury buyers from Florida, Texas, New York, and even California are relocating to Asheville for the lifestyle. But there's another benefit that often catches people completely by surprise, and it can save you thousands of dollars over time.

I recently had a conversation with a buyer who was relocating, and he kept asking whether the property tax number was really correct. It's funny because I'll play a little game with them. I'll say yes, it is, and then ask what the taxes are on their home up in New York, knowing full well the answer. He thought there had to be a mistake.
